CapCity Christmas

Join us this Christmas as we celebrate the reason for the season!

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3.16

CapCity Family Christmas

As you begin to mark your calendar for your Christmas season festivities, don't forget to include the CapCity Family Christmas

Wednesday, December 14!

We will begin the evening with our Family Meal at 5:30 in the Family Life Center. Please bring your favorite Christmas treat to share with your capcityfam! Those will be served in the Main Lobby after dinner. Then our Christmas program will begin in the Adult Worship Center at 6:30pm. The evening will start with a performance from our capcityPreK and conclude with our capcityKids telling the Christmas Story. Throw in some interactive games and Christmas carols led by CapCity's own Jon Sutphin and Ben Webb, and you are almost guaranteed some holiday cheer!

"Festive Christmas attire" is not required but is highly recommended!

"For to us a Child is born, to us, a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and of peace, there will be no end, on the throne of David and over His kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore." Isaiah 9.6-7

Christmas Services

This year CapCity will be hosting two Christmas services. The first will be on Christmas Eve at 5:30pm and the second will be on Christmas Day at 10:30am. (please note that the 10:30am service will be the only service on Sunday). Both services will be identical. We would love for you and your family to join us in celebrating the reason for the season!

There will be childcare provided at both services for ages birth - 5.

CapCity's Annual Giving Wall

Each year throughout December, CapCity sets up a Giving Wall in the main lobby. This is one way that we like to give back to the community and help others in need. This year CapCity will be collecting items for Joining Hands FRC (Family Resource Center for Hearn and Peaks Mill Elementary schools), the Wanda Joyce Robinson Foundation (serving children and youth impacted by incarceration), Kings Daughters Apartments (housing for low-income seniors in Frankfort), and CASA (court advocates for abused or neglected kids).

We ask that you take an ornament (or two), purchase the requested items, and bring them and the ornament back to the church the following Sunday. We will make sure that the items are delivered to the appropriate organization.
