Belonging to a Church Family

Doing life with Him, for Him, His way...together!

Belonging to a Church Family...

God never intended for us to go it alone. When we become children of God, we also become part of the family of God - with an attitude of caring and mutual respect, a sense of understanding each others' needs, whether physical or spiritual and a sense of 'belonging' to a group in which we are accepted without pretense or make-believe.

100% Truth and 100% Grace

In addition to picturing the church as a family, the Bible also describes the church as a 'body,' with Christ as the head and all of us as different parts. We need each other to function efficiently. Each of us has unique talents, but we can accomplish more together than we can individually. The church gathers to worship God and pool our resources to carry out the mission God entrusted us.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." - Matthew 28.19-20

In the Christian church, we do not claim to be the "only Christians" but "Christians only." We use the New Testament as our model for faith and practice. We want to embody the maxim:

"In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, love."
