We use the term #capcityfam a lot around here, and we mean it.
We're trying to do life with God, for God, God's way...together.
And we would love for you to join us!
Have you been coming to CapCity for a few weeks, maybe even a year or two, and you really enjoy worshipping with us, but you don't know what your "next step" should be? Maybe, you even think of Capital City as home - but it doesn't really feel like a family.
Let us show you where to start
There are lots of ways to make Capital City more than something you do just one hour each week. We say things are "next steps" that will take you to a new place in your faith journey.
Start With a Conversation
Maybe the easiest way to find out what next steps would be right for you is a simple conversation with one of our ministers.
We value connection and relationships. We believe God designed us to desire community - and that's what these next steps help you find - but maybe the simplest way to begin a path to connection is to start up a conversation. Let's get talking!
First Look Lunch
If you're relatively new to Capital City join us for our First Look Lunch (it's free), meet our staff, and find out how you can connect with others at CapCity.
Our next First Look Lunch is coming soon. For more information contact Vern Huber, Connections Minister, [email protected].
Getting Started Class
Do you think baptism might be the next step for you - but you're not sure? Maybe you've got some questions that you've always wanted to ask. Join us for our Getting Started Class on the first Sunday of each month at 9:45am or 12:15pm in the Connections Room.
Life groups are a key aspect of our church community. They are where we do life together! These smaller groups are an essential part of helping everyone connect and grow. Life Groups meet to study God’s Word, pray, enjoy fellowship, and share the joys and challenges of life. This is where we develop lasting friendships and build a community that stretches far beyond Sundays.
If you are interested in finding a Life Group that fits you, contact Vern Huber,
Connections Minister, at [email protected].
